It was a mere 3 months ago today that we spirited Thumblini away from her communal nursery, away from the rotating caregivers, and began our journey home from a cold city at the edge of endless plains.
We've been giving her sun and watering her regularly ever since. Here she is, stylishly wearing her first taste of avocado:

PS: Many many warm wishes to those compatriots heading out in the VERY near future, including Sandi and Shannon, and to those who have just arrived, including Catalina & Calin, Karen & Bob, and Kristi (Semey!). Don't forget your daily dose of Kefir, people!

I LOVE avocado's too. My friend has a tree and she brings them to regularly. I"m sad because the season is almost over. They're so good, and good for you.
Good to see such positive results with the cutie from Semey. :)
She looks happy, healty, and adorable! She looks very excited about the avocado. Heck, anything is delicious compared to kefir!

"Hahaha glad to hear that you are watering little Ms. Thumbelina and giving her plenty of sunshine, here in MN the sunshine is at a minimum, but I have been giving Z much formula.
It is so crazy that it has been 3 months since T left her orphanage, how time flies!

Adorable! Congratulations on your 3 month family anniversary! Thumblini looks like she is thriving!
You guys are so fun, I'm glad Im able to follow along on the journey and get my Thumblini, Curlymom and Dr Dad fix.
What a smile! That must have been a good advocado!
Okay, so I needed to share my morning with you.......I was coming down my stairs (I own a 2-story home) and near the bottom I lost my footing and Z, I and our laundry basket full of laundry tumbled down the last 3 stairs. I was horrified. Z was screaming and crying......she bit her tongue and it was bleeding. I never do that! How could I trip when I never do? Ugh! I thought of you right away and had to post that I too am a clutz with my baby in tow. :)

"Boy did we love getting to see DD this week. The kids miss him! Madeline woke up Tuesday morning and said, "Who's downstairs?" I said, "No one." And she said, "But DD was here last night." She was hoping you had slept over I guess. Hope to see you somewhere in New England soon.
